Up until about 3 o’ clock today, it looked like the Rockland championship meet was going to happen. But, the meet was postponed until tomorrow, starting at 10 a.m.

After watching the athletes struggle through the inclement weather last Friday at Loucks, I think pushing the meet back was a really good call. As much as it’s a pain to bring everyone back a day later, it’s dangerous to have people running and jumping in this kind of (miserable) weather. I also think that competition in good weather brings out the athletes and teams that are truly the best.

So we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see which teams prevail in Rockland. Should be a great meet, I look forward to seeing everyone out at TZ.
