The running world in the Lower Hudson Valley with Dan Marra

Today’s Journal News

October

I covered the Rockland County Championships yesterday at Bear Mt. and wrote a story about Shelby Greany winning her unprecedented 5th county title and Pearl River girls winning their 21st team title.

On the Boys race, I wrote about Mike Hickey’s quest to write his name along another great Pearl River runner in the record book and North Rockland’s big win.

At the Westchester County meet, my colleague Dan covered Katie Sullivan and Ursuline girls winning both the individual and team titles.

In the Boys race, Scarsdale held on to win the Westchester team title while Iona Prep’s Sean Halpin won the individual crown.

Check out our photo galleries of both Westchester and Rockland Championships.
