The running world in the Lower Hudson Valley with Dan Marra

Today in The Journal News

February
25

Yesterday at Easetern States we had some pretty impressive performances. The story I wrote focuses on Maurice Easterling taking first in the long jump and Sean Halpin winning the 800. Both were impressive in their events. I’ll be back a little later to talk more about both of those accomplishments as well as some of the other results from the meet. While I enjoy Easterns, my one problem with the meet is the time it’s run. A decent amount of the events are run either when I need to start writing my story or after a send it in. It’s tough to get in all the events. But that’s one of the reasons we have the blog, so be sure to check back later.
