Long jump 177 feet and no commment and then a 99 foot shot put. In the “deul” meet again only first palce winers named but then no first names,mm did not see that in the baseball results. Maybe something you want to speak to your editor about. It is a respect thing.

    Hey,
I know only posting the first place winner is annoying for all involved but unfortunately it is a situation that is completely out of mine or Dan’s control.

As for first names, we put both first and last names as long as they are given to us -for all teams involved. Sometimes the results we receive only give last names.

Gotcha but what about the results do you just print what is given to you or is it proof read aheasd of time. As for the names and only first place listed, maybe someone sdhould let your editor know that this is not well received by the track fans, you know the people who read and track( pun inteneded) the sport. Again it seems to be a lack of respect for those who come in second and third. It is the standard practice of the soport to recognize those places in the results. As one person wrote the athlete knows what they did and I agree but why not sheare that with others the way it is supposed to be done. Personally I willnot cancell a subscription because less money means less of a chance for a correction.
