World Youth Track and Field Trials

I just got word that Suffern’s Jen Clayton finished first in the long jump at the 2009 World Youth Track & Field Trials in Ypsilanti, Michigan today with a 19-7.5.

Junior Nationals in Oregon

Hey,

I received some updates about Junior Nationals in Oregon.

Ursuline’s Katie Sullivan competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase tonight. She finished fourth with a time of 11:16.38. Sullivan had a really impressive end to her season, it’s sad to see her go.

Class C Championships

Hey bloggers,

So, just wanted to give some more highlights from Class C yesterday.

First off, in the boys 400 relay, four teams were disqualified, including Valhalla, who had a photo finish with Bronxville. The Broncos wound up taking first place with a 44.6.

The St. Anthony’s Invitational on Saturday will be the host for the qualifying events for the Reebok Grand Prix on May 30th.

The four qualifying events are the girls 400 relay, girls and boys 1,600 relay and the boys 3,200 relay.
